What Does Mokti Mean?

What Does Mokti Mean?

The word Mokti comes from the Sanskrit word Mukti, which means freedom—freedom of the soul, freedom from what holds us back, freedom to simply be.

But for me, Mokti is not just a word.
It is a feeling.
A quiet decision.

Life does not always move the way we imagine. Sometimes it takes us through experiences that change us deeply. Relationships that do not work. Paths that suddenly end. Moments that force us to pause and look inward.

After going through my own share of difficult chapters, I realised something important: freedom is not about escaping life or leaving everything behind. It is about finding the courage to live honestly with yourself.

Mokti was born from that thought.

It represents the moment when you stop forcing yourself to stay in places that no longer feel right. When you allow yourself to breathe again. When you choose peace over pressure and clarity over confusion.

Being free does not always mean walking away from people or relationships. Sometimes freedom simply means not feeling trapped—emotionally, mentally, or spiritually.

It means living in a space where you can grow, where your inner self feels light rather than heavy.

And if you ever find a place, a person, or a moment where you can feel completely free while still feeling safe and understood—then that is something truly rare.

Mokti is a reminder of that freedom.

A reminder that every soul deserves the space to live honestly, gently, and without fear of being itself.
